Lodge Manufacturing, America’s Original Cookware company, announces Mike Otterman has been named the new president and chief operating officer, effective immediately.

Mr. Otterman joined Lodge in June 2016 as the senior vice president of Sales and Marketing with over 25 years of experience in the housewares and outdoor industries. 

Chief Executive Officer Henry Lodge, speaking on behalf of the Board of Directors, said, “Mike Otterman’s vision, leadership skills, knowledge and experience will help drive the company’s continuing success in the very competitive cookware market.” 

Founded in 1896 by Joseph Lodge, Lodge Manufacturing is the oldest family-owned cookware company in the U.S., and it is the oldest continuously operating domestic producer of cast iron cookware. 

The company produces over 130 foundry seasoned cast iron items, and it markets enamel coated cast iron cookware, seasoned carbon steel cookware and cooking accessories to 3,000 dealers in the U.S. and distributors in 60 countries.
