Jerry Lee Lindsey
Jerry Lee Lindsey, age 71, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, Thursday, January 11, 2018 at a local hospital.
Jerry was born July 4, 1946 in Lafayette, Ga., the son of the late Joseph Gordon Lindsey and Hazel Rebecca Williams Lindsey. He was also preceded in death by his brother, David Byrd. Jerry was the owner of Lindsey- Gowins Machine Shop.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Frankie Lucille Anderson Lindsey; sons, Jerry Lindsey and Angie Owens, Scott Lindsey and Angie Raburn; daughters, Lisa Land and Cindy Garner; grandchildren, Jason Lindsey, Taylor Gutierrez, Ashley Martin, Kara Gowens, Heather Gowens, Tyler Lindsey; great-grandchildren, Isabella Gutierrez, Violet Gutierrez, Judah Martin, Lennox Martin, Grayson Bearden and Asher Lindsey; brothers, Bill and Teresa Lindsey, Bobby Lindsey, Ray Lindsey; sisters, Betty Parrish and Doris and Mack Pettigrew; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday, Jan. 15, at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5-8 p.m.
