Soddy-Daisy knocked off Rhea County, 3-2, in a slugfest in the District 6-3A volleyball tournament at White County High School. Set scores were 25-18, 25-23, 23-25, 25-27 and 15-9.

The Lady Trojans will play Cookeville in the title game at 5 p.m. CT on Tuesday in Sparta, Tennessee. That winner will host the Region 3-3A tournament.

Silverdale beat Collegedale in the first round of the District 2A Tournament on Monday.  Silverdale heads into the semi-finals against Notre Dame with an 8 game winning streak. The match takes place at Tuesday at 5:30 at Notre Dame.
