Charlotte Welch Griffin, age 75, of Dalton passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kimsey and Ebba Panter.

She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Griffin of the residence; daughters and son-in-law, Renee Welch of Ft. Oglethorpe and Diane and Scott Cleary of Dalton; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Cheryl Welch of Rocky Face, Raymond and Sarah Welch of Chattanooga and Brian and Missy Welch of Cleveland, Beth and Ross Erwin of Dalton, Jerry and Karen Griffin of Blue Springs, Mo. and Steve and Karen Griffin of Dalton; sister, Hilda Sue Payne of Cleveland, and brother, Marion Panter of Crossville, Tn.; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

The funeral service to honor the life of Charlotte Griffin will be held Friday, May 11, at 2 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Beach and Rev. William Walker officiating.  Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Salem Baptist Church on Friday from noon until the service time of 2 p.m.
