Hit And Run Sunday Results In Death Of Teenager In Whitfield County

A teenager was killed in a hit and run accident early Sunday morning. 

Emory Ware, 18, of Calhoun, was hit by a vehicle on Georgia State Highway 3 and Maddox Chapel Road in Whitfield County.

Officers said evidence on the road indicates it was a Buick sedan traveling northbound that hit Mr. Ware. 

Police are looking for the driver.
