City Hosting Event To Encourage Businesses To Work With The City

  • Wednesday, November 13, 2019

The City of Chattanooga’s Purchasing Divison and Office of Multicultural Affairs are hosting an event to recruit and educate business owners on how to work with the city from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, Nov. 22, at the Brainerd Recreational Center, 1010 North Moore Road.

Doing Business With the City will give businesses the opportunity to talk with different department decision-makers on the types of services they are looking for, the city’s process for working with vendors, and allow them to register with the city’s vendor registration.

The City of Chattanooga relies on vendors for a number of projects like site demolition, catering, supplies, sign installation, and much more. City departments rely on the vendor list when looking for services that do not need to be bid on. At this free event, businesses will be able to register with the city’s vendor registration list so they can be notified when the city is in need of services.
