Erlanger Express Care To Open In Cleveland Friday

  • Thursday, November 7, 2019

Erlanger officials announce the opening of an Erlanger Express Care on Friday in Cleveland.

The Cleveland-based Express Care is Erlanger’s sixth urgent care facility, developed in partnership with Noon Development in Chattanooga. The Chattanooga-based healthcare system has opened Express Care centers in Soddy-Daisy, Hayesville, NC, Ringgold, downtown Chattanooga and on Gunbarrel Road at the Erlanger East Hospital campus.

“By providing specialists and medical services in Cleveland, we are responding to a vital community need and helping improve healthcare delivery in the region,” said Dr.

William Jackson, Erlanger president and CEO.  “We believe area residents should have the option to receive care closer to home, and that includes the 400 Erlanger employees, physicians and their family members who live in Bradley and Polk Counties.”

Erlanger Express Care facilities are open seven days a week, offering extended evening and weekend hours for both adults and children.  Hours of operation are 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 7 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday; 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday; and 2 p.m.-8 p.m. on Sunday.   A team of healthcare professionals at each location provide care for non-life threatening illnesses, injuries and other health needs – from cuts and colds to fractures, breaks and sprains. No appointments are needed at any of Erlanger’s urgent care sites, and flu shots are available at the Cleveland location for area residents who have not yet been vaccinated.

Grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremonies introducing Cleveland’s Erlanger Express Care, Primary Care, Cardiology and Physical Therapy facilities will be held on Dec. 5.  All four of these Cleveland-based healthcare services are located off Paul Huff Parkway, 4312 Holiday Inn Express Way Northwest.  The phone number for the Cleveland-based Erlanger Express Care is 423-331-5200.
