Louise “Peo” Franklin, 83, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, in a local health care facility.  

She was employed in the Dietary Department at Baylor School for over 40 years.  She was a member of Greater Faith Temple Baptist Church.  

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Franklin, Sr.; brothers, Richard, Charlie, and George, Jr.; sisters, Shelby, Elnora, Georgia Mae, Elsie, Bobbie Jean, and Arlene; devoted friend, William Amos.  

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Franklin; granddaughter, LaShonda Franklin; great-grandson, Zaryn Moore; brother, William Franklin all of Chattanooga; sisters, Doris Boozer of Chattanooga, Rosa Marie Ellison, JoAnn Strozer, and Annette Franklin, all of Atlanta, GA; a host of other relatives and friends.  

She will lie in state on Friday, April 26, after 1 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.  

Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 27, at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel with Pastor Robert Chaney, Jr. as the eulogist.  Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
