Man, 25, Shot On Through Street While Mowing His Lawn Wednesday Evening

A man, 25, was shot while mowing his lawn on Through Street Wednesday evening.

At approximately 6:39 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to the 3300 block of Through Street on a report of a person shot.
 
Upon arrival, police located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Hamilton County EMS responded and transported the victim to a local hospital.
 
Police secured the scene and called for the CPD Violent Crimes Bureau to respond.
The victim advised he was in the front yard when he was shot by an unknown suspect.
 
Investigators are actively working this incident.
