Bethany J. White
The Hixson High School director of sports medicine has been arrested on a charge of aggravated statutory rape.
Bethany J. White, 41, was taken to the Hamilton County Jail Friday morning after the indictment by the Hamilton County Grand Jury.
She was arrested at her home on Pine Marr Drive in Hixson.
Ms. White was placed under a $10,000 bond.
Earlier, the Hamilton County Schools had suspended her without pay while carrying out an investigation of alleged unprofessional conduct.
She recently resigned from the school system.
Ms. White began working for the county schools in 2009.
