Multiple Ways To Give To Children's Hospital Offered In September

  • Thursday, September 5, 2019

There are multiple ways to give in September to Children’s Hospital at Erlanger including the Children’s Miracle Network balloon icon campaign at Love’s Travel Stops and change round-up at local Debo’s Diner Steak ’n Shake restaurants.

This year is the 20th anniversary for the in-store Children’s Miracle Network balloon icon campaign.

The campaign runs until September 30 at local Love’s Travel Stops. To participate, residents can purchase a balloon icon at any local Love’s Travel Stop. Last year, local Love’s Travel Stops raised over $51,000 for Children’s Hospital at Erlanger. All funds raised locally will support Children’s Hospital at Erlanger’s efforts to continue to provide specialized, pediatric care to the region.

During the month of September, local Steak ’n Shake restaurants will donate money from their change round-up program and Tuesday program to Children’s Hospital at Erlanger’s Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders Center. On Tuesday, local Steak ’n Shake, Debo’s Diners, will donate a portion of all proceeds as part of their ongoing support for Children’s Hospital at Erlanger. They have donated over $100,000 over the past year. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Children’s Hospital at Erlanger thrives on the support of generous donors in our community; including Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals programs like balloon icon sales and Steak ’n Shake’s change round-up. These donations have helped provide specialty care and equipment in a pediatric-centered environment. Most recently, these funds have supported the creation of the Children’s Kennedy Outpatient Center.
