Vanderbilt, on its home court on Saturday night, failed to connect on a three-pointer for the first time since the 3-point play went into effect in 1986. Tennessee hit one, and won 66-45.

Prior to the contest, only Vanderbilt, Princeton and UNLV could boast of hitting at least one trey in each game for the last 34 years.

The Commodores went 0-25. Jordan Wright had one swish through late in the game, but it was a half second late.

Toward the end of the game, Vanderbilt fans cringed with each missed long shot and booed on a dunk.

Jordan Bowden scored 21 points to lead Tennessee, which improves to 11-6, 3-2. Vanderbilt is win-less in the conference and 8-9 on the season.
