Sharon “Debbie” Bowman
Sharon “Debbie” Bowman, age 65, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Saturday at the family residence.
She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Maybre and Russell Talton, and her sister.
Debbie was a former employee at the Cleveland YMCA where she dearly loved to work. She was of the Baptist faith and most recently attended Lakewood Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jimmy Bowman; son, Jimmy Luther Bowman and his wife Jennifer; daughter, Charity Burnette; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Talton, along with two other brothers; sister, Darlene Cox; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by numerous young people in her neighborhood who affectionately called Debbie Mamaw.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 15, at 11 a.m. at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Avenue Chapel with Rev. David Bragg officiating. The interment will follow at McInturf Cemetery in Birchwood with family and friends serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends Monday, Dec. 14, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
