FirstBank of Chattanooga employees donated hand-written Christmas cards to every single resident at Morning Pointe of East Hamilton in an effort to bring extra Christmas cheer and warm thoughts to everyone. Cards were written by employees from FirstBank’s Chattanooga-area branch locations and delivered on Tuesday to the senior living community in Ooltewah.

“With everything that seniors have had to endure this year, we wanted to do something that would bring a smile to their faces and a little bit of Christmas cheer,” said Carrie Chambers, senior vice president of commercial banking for FirstBank. “Employees at FirstBank branches in Chattanooga made individual cards for all the residents at Morning Pointe of East Hamilton. It’s the least we could do in a year that has been most challenging.”

Morning Pointe Senior Living president Greg A. Vital praised the three-year partnership between
FirstBank and Morning Pointe, saying, “It’s no secret that this year has been tough on seniors, but financial partners like FirstBank make it much nicer with their kind gestures like writing cards for our residents. We’re grateful for their generosity, especially here at the holidays."
