Soddy Daisy Warns Property Owners Of More Rain Expected Along Swollen Creek

Potential rain is the forecast for this weekend. Officials with the city of Soddy-Daisy said it cannot enter the creek or perform any work on the creek with the exception of the removal of downed trees and logs without proper permitting from TDEC. 

The required permits cannot be obtained in a short amount of time as the process is quite lengthy. 

Property owners were warned to take necessary precautions to protect their individual properties and structures.
