City Electric Supply Opens Newest Branch In Chattanooga

  • Tuesday, April 21, 2020

City Electric Supply announces that it has opened the doors to its newest U.S. location in Chattanooga.

“I couldn’t think of anywhere else I would rather be,” said Branch Manager Bryan Newberry. “With the area’s growth over the last few years, with the many new schools, health facilities, and manufacturing plants, I know we are going to be successful.”

The branch team worked together to build the showroom, warehouse and stock in just a few short months.

“Without the team I have beside me, we would not have been able to open as soon as we have,” said Mr. Newberry.

The process began with Mr. Newberry and District Manager Kevin Feidler working to land a great building. They spent four months searching for one in an ideal area. Once they secured the perfect building, they hired a general contractor.

“We expected construction to take around three months, but the general contractor exceeded our expectations and only took four weeks,” said Mr. Newberry.

Mr. Newberry has been with CES for about a year, but he has experience in the industry.

“I have been in the construction, electrical and automation field for nearly 20 years, and I have several family members in the same or a similar industry,” said Mr. Newberry.

With electrical, automation and mechanical contractors nearby and several engineering firms and training facilities in the area, Mr. Newberry believes the branch will be a conveniently located home for customers of all backgrounds.

“My team goes above and beyond to not only provide several products, but added value to everyone. It doesn’t matter if the customer is a homeowner, a manufacturer or a residential, commercial or industrial contractor,” said Mr. Newberry.

His team has 30 years of combined experience, and according to Mr. Newberry, they do a good job of sourcing any material requested as quickly as possible.

“The inside sales team is unbeatable with excellent customer service, quick responses and accurate status updates. My outside salesmen will always follow through to the end to make sure customers are taken care of from start to finish. They do a great job to make sure everything happens.”

Mr. Newberry says he is excited to represent CES in Chattanooga, “The management team supports my business decisions to grow the branch. They are loyal and put their employees first, and the upper management in the company regularly shows interest in me and support for my goals.”
