Moreland, Karen Kay (Trenton)

Karen Kay Moreland, 53, of Trenton, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 22, 2020.

Karen was a 1985 graduate of Ider High School and was employed by Blue Cross-Blue Shield. She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church where she taught AWANAS, Sunday School and was loved by many children.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Derrick Moreland; children, Josh (Crysten) Moreland, of Warner Robins, Ga. and Ashley Moreland, of Trenton; parents, Laura & Robert Steele, of Deer Head Cove; brother, Robert Steele, Jr; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 25 at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Baptist Church, with Rev Jonathan Witt officiating.
