Joe Stephen Elrod, 71, born January 8, 1949, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away July 30, 2020 at a Chattanooga hospital. He was of the Church of God faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James “Pedro” Elrod and Callie Mae Davis; brother, Jack Elrod; and sister, Wanda Burke.
Survivors include his children, Tammy Stephens (Scott), David Elrod (Sharon), Jody Elrod (Stacey) and Kathy Carter, all of Cleveland. He has several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
We will have a celebration of life at a later date. A special thank you to Joe’s nurses and friends who took care of him.
