RTC Donates $10,000 To Support The Catoosa County Public Schools Digital Learning Initiative

  • Tuesday, August 4, 2020

Ringgold Telephone Company has donated $10,000 in digital learning equipment and labor to the Catoosa County Public School System.

"School is almost back in session; yet, due to the threat of Covid -19, some local families are opting to keep students at home, choosing to try the virtual, digital-learning route instead of traditional, in-class education," officials said. "As CCPS has been striving to prepare their infrastructure for this transition, RTC has worked closely with them to assist with providing necessary technology to allow digital students to experience a more live, interactive classroom experience."

“We understand this is a challenging time for the CCPS, as well as for countless students in our community,” said Phil Erli, RTC executive vice president. “We are grateful to be able to be part of the solution during these difficult times, and we are proud of all that CCPS has accomplished to ensure our children continue to receive a quality education.”
