Whitfield Has Another Coronavirus Death; Georgia Records 13 More Deaths

Georgia state health officials reported on Sunday there have been an additional 13 deaths due to the coronavirus. The new total is 4,199.

There were 3,177 new cases as that total reached 216,596 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 

Hospitalizations are at 20,628 - up 27 since Saturday. 

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 637 cases, up 6; 9 deaths; 54 hospitalizations

Chattooga County: 266 cases, up 11; 3 deaths; 12 hospitalizations, up 1

Dade County: 126 cases, up 1; 1 death; 7 hospitalizations

Walker County: 705 cases, up 21; 17 deaths; 35 hospitalizations, up 3

Whitfield County: 3,527 cases, up 31; 30 deaths, up 1; 175 hospitalizations, up 1

The cases remain centered around the Atlanta area:

Cobb County: 13,564 cases; 319 deaths

DeKalb County: 13,923 cases; 237 deaths

Fulton County: 20,276 cases; 430 deaths

Gwinnett County: 19,808 cases; 260 deaths
