Edgar Joseph "Joe" Knight, 70, departed this life on September 11, 2020. 

He was born on Dec. 20, 1949, in Chattanooga. He attended Riverside High School. He retired from Moccasin Bend Mental Health Institute, where he served many years as a cook. He was known as "Uncle Bubba" at Love Me Tender Daycare Center.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Knight Jackson; father, Charles H. Fearn. 

Mourning his loss are his daughter, Tamillia Knight; sisters, Elizebeth J. Billups, Maria A. Watley; grandsons, Christian Lankford, Kiehl Knight, Kaleb Daniels; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends, Diane Riley, Nathanial Watson, Dennis Taylor, and Cosby Brown. 

Public viewing will be from 9–11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held privately. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
