Mark Choate, 49, a life-long resident of Cleveland, went into the arms of God, Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at his home, surrounded by the love of his family. Born, on June 9, 1971, he was a devout Baptist. Mark had a beautiful and kind heart, loved people and never met a stranger. He loved the water and was a swimmer, boater and liked jet skiing.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Robert “Bob” Morris; grandmothers, Pauline Kelley and Evelyn Choate; and grandfathers, William Thomas Kelley and William “Doc” Choate.
He is survived by son, Dakota Cass; mother, Gloria Morris; brother and sister-in-law, Dustin (Andrea) Morris; niece, Emma Morris; nephew, Hunter Morris; and several cousins and many, many friends.
Mark and his mother had such a special bond, he loved her so much, along with his son, Dakota, his brother, Dustin, and his family, all his many cousins and their families, all his friends and many, many more.
Pall bearers will be Randy Lawson, Devin Anderson, Taylor Calhoun, Nathaniel Kelley, Shaun Rapier and Trey Lewis, with honorary pallbearer Merritt Moore.
Funeral Services will be at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home, with Pastor Anthony Howard officiating.
Family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. prior to the service. The service will be live-streamed on the funeral home's facebook page.
