Barbara Ann Roy, age 84, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at a local hospital.

She was born Dec. 6, 1936 in Melrose, Ma.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Bedell Boutin; brother, Roland Boutin Jr.; and sister, Janice Brisebois.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Donald R. Roy of the residence; children, Donald A. Roy (Lillian) of Rhode Island, Russell Roy (Terry) of North Carolina, Raymond Roy (Debra) of Dalton, GA, Susan Ritchie (Michael) of Tennessee, Steven Roy (Carolyn) of Tennessee, Dwayne Roy (Kim) of Dalton, GA, Cheryl Jean (Ed) of South Carolina; step-dad, Roland Boutin of Florida; special friend, Barbara Vanderpoel of Massachusetts; and 18 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private memorial at their home.   

Due to the national health crisis and the COVID-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
