Hamilton County Has 298 New Cases, No New COVID Deaths; Tennessee Has 4,165 New Cases, 55 More COVID Deaths

Hamilton County reported 298 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday. The new total of cases in Hamilton County is 30,333.

There were no more deaths from the virus in the county reported on Sunday, leaving the total at 275.

The number of coronavirus cases in Tennessee is at 608,297 on Sunday with 4,165 new cases. There have been 55 more deaths from the virus, for a total of 7,025, state Health Department officials said.

The state currently has 3,176 people hospitalized from the virus, 60 more than on Saturday.

Testing numbers are above 5.658 million across the state. 

The number of people who have recovered from coronavirus in Tennessee is 526,966, 87 percent.

Bledsoe County:  1,631 cases, up 9; 9 deaths

Bradley County:  9,434 cases, up 74; 74 deaths, up 1

Grundy County: 1,244 cases, up 8; 19 deaths

Marion County: 1,946 cases, up 14; 26 deaths

Meigs County: 996 cases, up 11; 16 deaths

Polk County: 1,231 cases, up 13; 16 deaths

Rhea County: 3,335 cases, up 35; 49 deaths

Sequatchie County: 1,211 cases, up 14; 17 deaths

Knox 33,862 cases, up 260; 301 deaths, up 2

Davidson 63,009 cases, up 168; 576 deaths, up 4

Shelby 68,753 cases, up 327; 921 deaths, up 10
