Claude Lee “Uncle Joe”  Logan, 86, passed away on November 26, 2021, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

He was born on Feb. 14, 1935, in Huntsville, Al., to parents, John H. Logan and Dora Lee Robinson.

Claude retired from the City of Chattanooga having worked in the Public Works Waste Management department.

He was preceded in death by his parents; devoted and loving friend, Thelma Buckles.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two children, Michael and Diane; two grandchildren; a devoted and loving niece, Jackie Sanford; devoted and caring neighbor, Carolyn Thornton; brother, Roosevelt Logan; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends, and caregiver, Liz.

Public viewing will be held from 9-10:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 6, at the funeral home, followed by an 11 a.m. graveside service at Highland Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are by John P Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 423 622-9995.
