Conrick, Jack Wesley, Sr. (Cleveland)

  • Monday, November 29, 2021
On Wednesday, November 24, 2021, Jack Wesley Conrick Sr., 67 years old, left this world peacefully to be with the Lord. Jack passed away surrounded by family in his Tennessee home. He was born on July 5, 1954 in Valparaiso, Indiana to James C. Conrick and Martha L. (Conrick) Wood, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Barbara A. (Parkes) Conrick; two sons, Jack W. (Trudy) Conrick Jr. and Dr. Robert J.C. (Kelsey) Conrick; two grandchildren; and two very fluffy cats. Jack came from a large family with many brothers, sisters and cousins.

Jack was a proud Vietnam-era veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division, having served honorably in the United States Army from 1971 to 1988, ultimately earning the rank of staff sergeant. He spoke fondly of his adventures in Europe, especially Germany, where he spent several years of his military service. He also served as a highly skilled test parachutist, completing hundreds of jumps with the U.S. Army. Jack returned from military service and served his family and community honorably as an HVAC specialist, where he worked for over 30 years.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either a charity of your choice or Boanerges Baptist Church (http://www.boanergesbaptist.com) in Old Fort, TN.

A memorial service in Jack’s honor will be held at a later date.
