Boyd Buchanan Runs Into Reigning State Champ CPA And Loses 41-9

  • Friday, November 5, 2021

The Boyd Buchanan Bucs faced reigning state champion Christ Presbyterian Academy on a cold Friday night and wound up losing 41-9. CPA continues to host a second round game of DII-AA.

The Lions (now 9-2) scored on their first three possessions, then got another TD from star receiver London Humphreys to lead 28-3 at halftime.

Humphreys has six TDs in his last two games and 11 scoring receptions for the season.

Cade Law, who will play baseball for Vanderbilt next season, had four TD passes and a touchdown run.

The visiting Bucs scored their final touchdown just before the clock wound down after letting several offensive linemen have a try at running the ball against some younger CPA defenders.

Boyd Buchanan finishes the season 4-6.
