Faithful Member Of Red Bank Church Of Christ For Over 50 Years

Janice Brady, affectionately known as Nana, 81, passed away on December 5, 2021, in a local hospital. 

Janice was born to the late Elton and Mary Frances Wood on Sept. 30, in Nashville, Tn. She graduated from  Rockwood High School.

Having taught children’s Bible classes since she was a teenager,  she also taught and was a faithful member of the Red Bank Church of Christ for over 50 years in the children’s ministry and also taught for the Inner City Church of Christ Ministry and Tuesday School Program. She always had a special place in her heart to share the love of Jesus with children. She worked with Dr. Bill Greer as a dental receptionist for 35 years before retiring to spend time with her husband and family.

Janice was preceded in death by her brother, David Wood; sister, Sylvia Hale; mother-in-law and father in law, Imogene and Charlie Brady; her beloved husband, Bobby Brady; and grandson, Sam Brady.

She is survived by her son, Craig (Joan) Brady; grandson, Jake Brady; grandson, Evan Aldridge  (Rachel); great-grandchildren, Connor Aldridge, Anniston Aldridge and Charlee Aldridge; brother-in-law, Danny  Hale; niece, Amanda ((Michael) Waldo and their daughter Savannah; nephew, Aaron (Morgan) Hale and their son Grayson.

Visitation will be on Friday Dec. 10, from 2-7 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home, Coulter Chapel.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, Dec. 11 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Spring City, Tn.
