Hamilton County Has 3 New COVID Deaths, 100 New Cases; Tennessee Has 1,129 New Cases, 18 More COVID Deaths

Hamilton County reported 100 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday.

The new total of cases in Hamilton County is 40,036.

There were three more deaths from the virus in the county reported since Thursday, bringing the total to 445.  
 

The number of coronavirus cases in Tennessee is at 765,137 on Sunday with 1,129 new cases. There have been 18 more deaths from the virus, for a total of 11,133, state Health Department officials said.

The state currently has 1,010 people hospitalized from the virus, 25 more than Saturday.

Testing numbers are above 6.674 million across the state. 

The number of people who have recovered from coronavirus in Tennessee is 737,635, 96 percent.

Bledsoe County:  1,980 cases, up 14; 10 deaths

Bradley County:  12,633 cases, up 26; 137 deaths

Grundy County: 1,651 cases, up 6; 29 deaths

Marion County: 2,876 cases, up 1; 44 deaths

Meigs County: 1,251 cases; 20 deaths

Polk County: 1,723 cases, up 6; 21 deaths

Rhea County: 4,102 cases, down 1; 72 deaths

Sequatchie County: 1,531 cases, up 3; 27 deaths

Knox County: 44,982 cases, up 106; 561 deaths, up 2

Davidson County: 80,349 cases, up 106; 830 deaths, up 1

Shelby County: 86,134 cases, up 107; 1,451 deaths, up 1
