Chattanooga City Council Candidates Endorsed By Grassroots Law Project PAC

The Grassroots Law Project has endorsed Raquetta Dotley, Tim Gorman, Leanne Jones and Marie Mott for Chattanooga City Council. 

Grassroots Law Project released the following statement: 

"At Grassroots Law Project – founded by civil rights activist and journalist Shaun King and civil rights attorney Lee Merritt – we believe in true liberation from the oppressive systems of policing, incarceration, and racial injustice. We combine the best of grassroots organizing with legal expertise to give people across the country the tools to make real change.

"We advance policies that have the potential to drastically reduce the number of people harmed by police and prisons, advocate on behalf of families impacted by police violence and mass incarceration, and work with our partner PAC to elect leaders who are deeply committed to dismantling systems of oppression.

"These City Council candidates are creating new pathways to make structural change in their district and city.?
