Riverbend Festival May Go On, But At A Smaller Size

  • Friday, March 26, 2021

The Riverbend Festival may continue after all, but at a smaller size, director Mickey McCamish said.

He said, "We are seeking a permit from the mayor for Friends of the Festival to conduct Riverfront Nights on Saturday evenings starting June 5 through August 28 and then Riverbend, October 8-10.

"Riverbend will be smaller in size and I am leaning toward calling the Oct. 8-10-Riverbend Fall Festival since it will be different than the Riverbend of the past 38 years."
