Georgia state health officials reported on Saturday there have been 71 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 16,487.
There were 1,085 new cases, as that total reached 848,859 confirmed cases of coronavirus.
Hospitalizations are at 58,476, which is 69 more than Friday.

Catoosa County: 5,339 cases, up 9; 61 deaths; 239 hospitalizations
Chattooga County: 2,154 cases, up 5; 60 deaths; 167 hospitalizations
Dade County: 1,159 cases, up 3; 10 deaths; 57 hospitalizations
Walker County: 6,164 cases, up 10; 76 deaths; 266 hospitalizations
Whitfield County: 14,502 cases, up 18; 221 deaths, up 1; 719 hospitalizations
