TDOE Launches Free Reading Resources For Tennessee Families

The Tennessee Department of Education is announcing the launch of free reading resources that will be made available statewide to parents of children in grades K-2, as part of the department’s Reading 360 initiative on Wednesday at 11 a.m. CT. at Dodson's Branch Elementary, 16221 Dodson Branch Hwy. in Cookeville.
 
At the announcement, Commissioner Penny Schwinn will provide highlights of the new at-home reading materials, why these resources are beneficial and how families can use them at home with their children.
 
Families, elected officials and community members are encouraged to watch the announcement via Facebook Live.
