McCallie Tennis Advances To Spring Fling With Win Over Knox Catholic

McCallie advanced to the Spring Fling state tennis semifinals with a 4-0 home win over Knoxville Catholic. The Blue Tornado, now 13-0 on the season and 8-0 in home matches, started quickly by winning the doubles point and then took straight-set wins at the four, five and six singles positions. Gabe Getz won in both singles and doubles for McCallie.

Chattanooga VA National Cemetery Director Deborah Kendrick said the VA has identified six possible sites for cemetery expansion in Chattanooga. She said those locations have not been made public.
