EMS Week Bass Tournament Starts Monday

The EMS Week Bass Tournament has been a charity event celebrating National EMS Week with local first responders as well as others from Georgia since 2011. Over the years, this charity event has provided funding for 14 college students pursuing a career in emergency medical services and donated over $3,700 to the Chattanooga Forgotten Child Fund.

On Monday, May 17, first responders will gather at Chester Frost Park in search of the biggest bass in Lake Chickamauga. Winners will also be awarded with the annual plaque for the most pounds of fish and “bragging rights” for their agency.

Blast off will begin around 7 a.m.

and weigh-in will be held at 3 p.m.
