Chattanooga's Rio40 Teams Win 3 v 3 BUSA Shootout Tournament

Two Chattanooga based soccer teams traveled to Birmingham on Saturday for a 3 v 3 tournament and came home with the champion hardware. 

The Rio 40 teams are coached by Tyler Robertson. 

The high school team was made up of Chattanooga Christian  School players including, Christian Landers, Andrew Davick, Daniel Wolde, Knox Thompson, Christian Heilig and Edimo Ninteretse. 

They played four pool play games and went 4-0.  They beat the Blazin' Carlina Reapers FC 5-2 in the championship game. 

The 2010 Rio40 team was made up of Silas Martin, Evan Chaverria, Victor Prieto, Aiden Mays, Braddock Hosie and Emilio Martinez. 

The 2010 team went 2-0-1 in pool play and then beat T-Town Shooters 4-1 in the semifinals and Forza Barza 5-3 in the championship.
