Carol Tatum Hendricks Blalock, 61, went to her heavenly home on June 23, 2021. 

She touched the lives of countless others by just being Carol. She worked at US Xpress for 31 years.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Britt Blalock, her daughters Brandy Price (Jason) and Stephanie Hendricks (Patrick), her three grand boys, Jacob; James; and Colton. She also leaves behind her mother, Sharon Holland, and father, James Tatum, sister, Renda Eakin and brother, Jimmy Tatum, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many special friends.

A Celebration of Carol’s Life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Saturday June 26, 2021 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Brent Upchurch officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5-9 p.m. She will be laid to rest in the Lakewood Memory Gardens East.

The family has requested that in lieu of cut flowers that any plants or flowers be able to be replanted so that they may live on in her memory.

Arrangements are under the care of Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist East Chapel, 404 South Moore Rd. East Ridge, TN 37412.
