Here are upcoming street closings:
Honest Charleys - Fort Street
Fort Street between W 13th Street and W 14th Street will be closed Thursday, June 24, 2021, from 5:00 AM until 11:30 PM for a private event hosted by Honest Charley's Garage.
Gospel In The Park - Georgia Ave
Georgia Ave between E MLK Blvd and E 10th Street 14th will be closed Thursday, June 24, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM for event vendors.
Friday, June 25, and Saturday, June 26, beginning at 9 a.m.
One (1) block of Riverfront Parkway, between Power Alley and Chestnut Street, will be closed for race venue set and pre-race activities.
Sunday, June 27 - Race Day - Beginning at 3:30 a.m. and reopening at 4 p.m.
- Riverfront Parkway will be closed from the East end of Molly Lane to Aquarium Way.
- All inbound traffic on Amnicola Hwy / Riverside Drive / Riverfront Parkway will be detoured off at Battery Place.
- Aquarium Way and Lookout Street will have out-bound only access to Riverfront Parkway/Riverside Drive.
- The inside lanes of Riverfront Pkwy / Riverside Drive / Amnicola Hwy, in-bound and out-bound, will be closed to bicycle traffic only, with the support of the Chattanooga Police Department at major intersections.
- 7:00 am - 1:00 pm: Expect high runner traffic on the Southside section of the Riverwalk
Nightfall - Cherry Street / Martin Luther King Blvd. / Market Street
Cherry Street will be closed at E MLK Blvd on Friday from 3 PM until 12 midnight for Nightfall setup. Market Street will be closed from East 8th Street to East 10th Street, and ML King Blvd will be closed from Broad Street to Georgia Avenue from 5:30 PM until 12 midnight. These closures will be in effect each Friday night through September 10, 2021.
Reggie White Blvd will be closed in front of the First Horizon Pavilion on Sunday, June 27 for the Chattanooga Market.
Rescheduled - Market Street Bridge
The Market Street Bridge TDOT inspection will no longer take place on Sunday, June 27th. The closure has been rescheduled to Tuesday, June 29th from 9 AM until 3 PM. Please utilize Veterans Bridge or HWY 27 as alternative routes.
