Georgia Has 45 New COVID Deaths, 273 More Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Saturday there have been 45 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 18,188.

There are 273 new cases, as that total reaches 897,464 confirmed cases of coronavirus.

Hospitalizations are at 64,059, which is an increase of 46 from Friday.

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 5,856 cases, up 3; 65 deaths; 261 hospitalizations

Chattooga County: 2,258 cases, up 1; 65 deaths; 184 hospitalizations

Dade County: 1,250 cases; 13 deaths; 62 hospitalizations

Walker County: 6,710 cases, up 4; 81 deaths; 293 hospitalizations

Whitfield County: 14,955 cases, down 1; 231 deaths; 778 hospitalizations
