Robert Woods
Robert Earl Woods, 71, was born on May 8, 1950, to the late Samuel Lawrence and Mary Louise Woods. He passed away peacefully on July 25, 2021, at NHC.
He was formerly employed at Ernest Holmes Company as a welder.
Preceding in death are brother, Ezell Woods and son, Kencey A. Woods.
He leaves to cherish his memory, son, Robert Earl Woods, Jr.; daughter, Tammy Woods; siblings, Linda Murphy of Chicago Illinois, Ronnie L. (Dorothy Suggs) Woods of New Jersey; Billy J. Woods, and Bobby J. Woods of Chattanooga, Lizzie Greer and Angela Woods, of Chattanooga; aunts, Louise Thomas and Lissie Simmons, both of Chicago, Illinois; uncles, Lucious and Joseph Woods of Chattanooga; 28 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7, in the funeral home chapel, followed by a 1 p.m. funeral service. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
