Maple Street Biscuit Company announces that on Aug. 10, all Maple Street community stores will be closing at 1 p.m. to live out their mission of helping people, serving others, and being a part of the community. Each store will gather their team to go out and partner with an organization or individual within their community.
This will be Maple Street’s second year celebrating Day of Good.
“We started Day of Good last year when it was apparent the world needed healing," said Alex Hill, COO. "We loved seeing the joy in our communities and in our teams. So, we decided to make this an annual tradition for us. This year we anticipate we will give over 400 hours of our collective time to our communities.”
This year, Maple Street has plans to provide meals to local fire and police departments, help clean up beaches, and write letters to community members in assisted living facilities.
Maple Street is a community store that has an approachable menu, community style seating for guests to get to know their neighbors, and a company culture of serving and getting to know their guests on a personal level. It is fitting for them to take their company culture out into their neighborhoods as a team and serve more guests, said officials.
