Thankful For The Frontline And Their Selfless Acts Of Courage

Dear Sweet Doctor Davis,

This morning when I did what I always do and checked out Chattanoogan, I too became most heartbroken. I teared up not only for the innocent afflicted who it appears are now very much on the Delta menu but also for their parents who yell at you.

I'm thinking along the lines of "desperate people do desperate things" and I, too, would scream if one of mine looked like they were about to die. Throw in a nagging idea that I may have had a part in it and... oh boy. So, so tragic.

But mainly, in my bed with nobody looking, I cried hot tears for you, Dr. Davis. You and all of your front line people who are acting like the boys who stormed Normandy. Selfless acts of courage and love with a very real shot at being mowed down.

Please persevere, great woman.  When this is all over and if you are still with us and if you don't mind, I'm gonna make sure your old man is looking the other way and I'll plant a big fat kiss on your beautiful brown face. You are my hero.
