Miles Huff Joins Cempa Community Care As Advocacy & Development Administrator

  • Tuesday, August 31, 2021
Cempa Community Care announces that Miles Huff has joined the organization to serve as advocacy & development administrator. In this role, Mr. Huff will oversee development, outreach and government relations.

“Having worked with Cempa for years, I never dreamed that I would eventually have the privilege of being a part of this dynamic team,” said Mr. Huff. “I am honored to have been chosen to support the mission of this organization, and for the opportunity to use my voice to advocate for and to elevate our mission to champion healthy communities, particularly among groups experiencing disproportional health disparities.”

Prior to joining the team at Cempa Community Care, Mr.
Huff served as vice president of talent initiatives at the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce. He directed Corporate Social Responsibility at Unum prior to his Chamber appointment. Mr. Huff, a recent “20 Under 40” honoree in Chattanooga, has long been involved with Cempa as a volunteer, and this full-time position is a natural extension of that partnership, officials said.

“Bringing Miles into the Cempa fold in a full-time capacity is one of the most organic hires we’ve ever made,” said Shannon Stephenson, CEO at Cempa Community Care. “We have been grateful for his commitment to this organization over the past few years, and we are excited that the mission he’s been compelled to support in his spare moments is now something that he will be able to advance with the bulk of his time and talents. Our organization and community will benefit greatly from this addition."
