Ronald Chadwick
Ronald Eugene Chadwick, 81, of Rocky Face, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Ron was born July 31, 1940, in Dalton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by parents Harry T. and Louise (Morgan) Chadwick of Rocky Face, Georgia. Ron owned and operated NorthStar Marketing, retiring in 2008. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Dalton, where he and his wife, Elizabeth, served as preschool directors. Ron also served as a deacon.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Elizabeth (Ross) Chadwick; daughter, Jenny Chadwick of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Brent A. and Larissa Chadwick of Rocky Face; grandsons Andre’ Weber (Amy) of Woodstock, GA, Ross Chadwick (Haylee) of Tunnel Hill, and Reade Chadwick of Rocky Face, and great-granddaughter, Paislee Jo Chadwick of Tunnel Hill; sister Joann Hoskins (Lynn); and several other nieces and nephews.
Ron cherished the memories of watching his son and grandsons play high school football and he loved college football. As a private pilot, he enjoyed flying for business and pleasure. Ron was an avid golfer for years and loved southern gospel music.
A service to celebrate the life of Ronald Chadwick will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 22, at 2 p.m. at Love Funeral Home of Dalton. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
