Georgia Has 138 More Coronavirus Deaths And 6,109 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Tuesday there have been 138 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 21,563.

There are 6,109 new cases as that total reaches 1,197,182 confirmed cases of coronavirus.

Hospitalizations are at 78,752, which is an increase of 376 from Monday.

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 7,787 cases, up 32; 76 deaths, up 1; 283 hospitalizations

Chattooga County: 3,404 cases, up 16; 75 deaths, up 3; 223 hospitalizations, up 2

Dade County: 1,691 cases; 15 deaths; 66 hospitalizations

Walker County: 8,940 cases, up 29; 100 deaths, up 3; 333 hospitalizations, up 4

Whitfield County: 18,406 cases, up 23; 279 deaths, up 2; 866 hospitalizations, up 4
