Georgia Has 157 More COVID Deaths And 3,508 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Thursday there have been 157 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 21,865.

There are 3,508 new cases as that total reaches 1,203,812 confirmed cases of coronavirus.

Hospitalizations are at 79,388, which is an increase of 307 from Wednesday.

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 7,847 cases, up 40; 79 deaths, up 2; 284 hospitalizations, up 1

Chattooga County: 3,434 cases, up 11; 77 deaths, up 2; 228 hospitalizations, up 3

Dade County: 1,701 cases, up 5; 15 deaths; 66 hospitalizations

Walker County: 9,006 cases, up 40; 102 deaths, up 2; 336 hospitalizations, up 2

Whitfield County: 18,498 cases, up 50; 282 deaths, up 2; 869 hospitalizations
