RP Homes announces the addition of a new purchasing manager and a new vice president of construction. Richard Derry and Chuck Spires both have extensive experience in the construction industry.

Purchasing Manager Richard Derry has more than 25 years of experience within the construction industry and most recently worked for Goodall Homes.

Mr. Derry is responsible for the purchasing of all materials that go into building a home. He manages the purchasing department in single and multifamily divisions, while also supervising and projecting all direct job costs. Mr. Derry also maintains relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and trade partners.

Vice President of Construction Chuck Spires has more than 27 years of residential construction management experience. He has specialized in high-production single-family buildings for most of his career, which started in Ohio immediately after high school.

Mr. Spires manages all of RP Homes’ construction, both single and multifamily. He does this by managing all of RP Homes’ project managers and field personnel. He also oversees the warranty department. He ensures all homes meet the RP Homes standard of quality and are built to buyers’ specifications, timelines, and budgets.

“We are excited to welcome two industry veterans to the RP Homes team,” said Gabe Thomas, president of RP Homes. “I look forward to Richard and Chuck contributing to the goals and future growth of RP Homes.”
