Jerry Lewis Quinn, age 72, of Rock Spring passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.

He was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Peavine Baptist Church. Jerry worked 45 years for Windstream and dedicated many years to the LaFayette High School baseball team.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Kathy “Terri” Stanfield Quinn; parents, Lewis Quinn and Juanita Alder Quinn; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Peggy Stanfield; sisters, Sandra Adams, Janice Cochran, and Cindy Quinn; and brother, William Quinn.

He is survived by his daughter, Katie (Steven) Lowery; son, Adam (Meg) Quinn; grandchildren, Aubrey, Caroline and Eli Quinn, and Anna Kate Lowery; brother, Charles Quinn; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 7, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Rev. Denny Patrick officiating.

Interment at Rock Spring Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Rick Coker, Teddy Kemp, Dale Coker, Johnny Holder, Michael Adams, and Matthew Adams.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jerry’s memory can be made to Peavine Baptist Church 1089 Peavine Road, Rock Spring, GA 30739.

Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
