Arlene Browne Lane
Arlene Browne Lane, 74, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at the family residence.
Arlene was born in Dunlap, Tn., and she was the daughter of the late Lotha Stewart Browne and Carlos Curry Browne. Her husband, Robert Lane, and her seven sisters and five brothers also preceded her in death.
Arlene served as a corrections officer with the Bradley County Sheriffs Department with close to 20 years of service and retired with the rank of sergeant. She also served on the Honor Guard for the department. She loved watching law enforcement shows on television. She loved animals, the outdoors, and traveling to the mountains. Arlene was a member of the Chestuee United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Dana Pritchard (Brian), Tina Colbaugh (Timmy) all of Cleveland; grandchildren, Andy Cheatham, David Davis (Amber), Hunter Davis, Hannah Ellis, Misty Veal, Brooklyn Pritchard, Alex Pritchard, Thomas Pritchard, Ariel Pritchard, Rachael Pritchard, Anthony Pritchard, Natalee Pritchard, Bradley Colbaugh (Stephanie), Brooke Booher (Josh) and Chris Davis (Kirsten); great-grandchildren, Troy Davis, Liam Davis, Cooper Booher and Jo Colbaugh; a very dear and special friend, Tracy Cheatham; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The Remembrance of Life Graveside Service and Interment will be held private for the family at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Reverend Dustin Wilds will officiate and family will serve as casket bearers.
