Lisa Annette Martin, 53, of East Brainerd died unexpectedly Saturday, November 26, 2022.

A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Lisa was a 1987 graduate of Tyner High School.

She was a member of OLPH Catholic Church and was retired from the medical field after many years of service.

Lisa was a member of Camp Kulabunga and a strong supporter of Chattanooga Girl’s Rock.

She was very proud of her work with local law enforcement to help combat DUI.

Lisa was preceded in death by her daughter, Katy Martin on November 22, 2020.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Martin; parents, Melvin and Judy McDowell, Chattanooga; siblings, Karen McDowell, Ooltewah, Brian McDowell and Debra Essex both of Chattanooga; mother-in-law, Frances Jenkins; sister-in-law, Karen (Glenn) Gass all of Chattanooga; nieces and nephews, Drew McDowell, Abby McDowell, Ashlyn McDowell, Nicholas Gass, all of Chattanooga, Cassie Essex, Virginia.

A Celebration of Life for Lisa will be held on Friday, December 2, at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

The family will receive friends on Friday, Dec. 2, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road.
